About Us

I am a mother of 2 children first and foremost. I am a young Hindu mother, meaning that although I want my children to understand and be familiar with our religion, I want them to truly fall in love with the Hindu gods and goddesses through fun and vibrant stories that capture their imaginations.  So when I went on a search to find stories that were appropriate for my then 3-year-old, I could not find anything that was fun!! SO I began telling 'mummy stories' of the little Hindu stories I learnt when I was little. He loved them so much I decided to write his favourite one down, and so 'Ganesh FInds His Groove' was born. I am passionate about education and therefore I have added some educational elements to help our children (AND US) to really learn all about each character before reading the stories. I have also researched and answered a few tricky questions i.e. Why is Shiva blue? (ones we would have to google on the spur of the moment) to help us parents look really super clever!  Although I am a qualified Osteopath and Teacher, I have always said that my true learning began when I had children.  I hope you and your children enjoy reading these stories as much as I enjoyed creating them,
